Vijayan Accuses Kerala UDF Government of Outsourcing Policy

Pinarayi Vijayan criticized Kerala’s UDF government over how it is planning development projects.

He said the government reportedly hired a London-based multinational company.

The company was allegedly paid Rs 50 lakh through the “Reimagining Kerala” initiative.

Vijayan claimed that about 40 employees were helping coordinate government programmes.

He said elected leaders and government institutions should decide policy priorities.

He was concerned that private advisers might receive confidential government information.

Vijayan also said the State Planning Board had been left out.

He argued that the arrangement could weaken transparency and public accountability.

He asked the government to stop the move.
