Calcutta HC Denies Abhishek Banerjee Abroad Travel for Eye Treatment

The court wants him to first see doctors in Kolkata at S.S.K.M. Hospital.
The state government didn't want him to travel because there are important legal cases against him, including one about hate speech.
The court will decide later, after the doctors in Kolkata give their report.
For now, Banerjee doesn't have to worry about being arrested in the hate speech case until October, but he has to help the police with their investigation.
