MP Condemns Wangchuk's Detention, Rejects 'Terrorist' Label
Sonam Wangchuk, known for his environmental and social work, is being held in Jodhpur jail.
An MP, Amra Ram, tried to visit him but was denied, and stated the scene outside resembled a battlefield.
Ram criticized the government's actions and stated Wangchuk is not a terrorist.
He highlighted the previous praise Wangchuk received and contrasted it with his current detention, which is based on the National Security Act, as a result of Wangchuk protesting for Ladakh's statehood.
