HP Electricity Board Achieves Rs 315 Crore Profit in FY25
Imagine a company that provides electricity, called HPSEBL.
For a long time, this company was losing money, like owing a lot of money to others.
But in the last year, they made a profit of 315 crore rupees, which is a really big achievement!
The government says this happened because of their new plans and policies.
The company is also paying out money for things like employee benefits.

HPSEBL reported a profit of Rs 315 crore in FY25.
The board had accumulated losses of Rs 3,742 crore until March 31, 2024.
The profit is the highest ever recorded by the board.
The Himachal government's reforms and policies helped the board recover.
Rs 187.86 crore of the Rs 368.89 crore allocated for gratuity, medical reimbursement, and other benefits has been disbursed.
