Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift Launches With Level 2 ADAS
Maruti Suzuki has introduced an updated Baleno car in India.
One report says its starting price is Rs 6.10 lakh before showroom-related charges.
The updated car is reported to get Level 2 ADAS, which is a group of driver-assistance safety features.
It is also said to have a new engine.
Earlier launch information had expected Level-1 ADAS and the same 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engines, so the reports differ.
The car may also be available with both CNG fuel and an automatic gearbox.
Its outside design gets small changes, while the inside may receive a bigger screen, ventilated seats, a sunroof and rear sunshades.
The Baleno competes with cars including the Tata Altroz and Hyundai i20.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Baleno facelift in India at Rs 6.10 lakh ex-showroom, according to one report.
The update reportedly adds Level 2 ADAS, a new engine and mild styling changes.
A live-launch report had expected Level-1 ADAS, carried-over engines and a launch at 6:30 PM.
The facelift is reported to introduce a CNG-AMT combination, making the Baleno the second car in its class with that pairing after the Tata Altroz.
Expected or reported changes include revised bumpers, lighting, grille, wheels, connected tail lamps and additional cabin features.
