Apollo Teynampet Oncology Unit Expands Into Multispeciality Hospital

Apollo Hospitals has changed its cancer hospital in Teynampet into a hospital with many specialties.

It will still provide advanced cancer treatment.

It will also treat heart, brain, stomach, lung, bone, urinary, and other medical problems.

The hospital has 300 beds, including 51 for patients needing intensive care.

It has five operating rooms and a Cath Lab.

A new stroke-care unit will operate all day and night.

The hospital also added special equipment for digestive, lung, and sleep-related care.

The change is intended to help patients who need doctors from several specialties working together.
