VMRDA Launches Revamped Digital Platform Ahead of Scheduled Launch
In a city called Visakhapatnam in India, there is an office called VMRDA that helps plan how the city grows.
This office works on roads, buildings, parks and other development projects.
VMRDA made a brand new website so everyone can see what the city is working on.
The website is like a big digital notice board and library combined.
It was supposed to open on August 15, but it opened a little early.
They did this so people would not have trouble finding information.
If someone visits the old website, they are sent to the new one automatically.
The new site shows things like rules, land deals, auctions and reports about future plans.
It also shows new apps made by VMRDA.
Overall, it makes city information easier to find and understand for everyone.
VMRDA launched a revamped digital platform at VMRDA.ap.gov.in, replacing the old VMRDA.gov.in website.
The new website was made available ahead of its scheduled August 15 launch to avoid public inconvenience.
Visitors to the old website are automatically redirected to the new portal.
The portal centralizes departmental information, advertisements, auctions, tenders and other public notifications.
It provides access to planning documents such as the NITI Aayog-proposed VER report, master plan reports, layouts and land transaction details, along with the new Vista Apps.
