Jharkhand High Court Stays Cancellation of JPSC Exams

Jharkhand High Court Stays Cancellation of JPSC Exams

The Jharkhand government cancelled some civil service and recruitment tests after students complained that the exams may not have been conducted properly.

One set of exams was the 11th to 13th JPSC Combined Civil Services examinations.

People who passed some of the cancelled exams asked the High Court to review the government’s decision.

The High Court has temporarily stopped the cancellation of the JPSC exams.

It told the selected candidates to return to their jobs for now.

The court will hear the case again on August 25.

The government must answer questions about how it cancelled the exams.

Reports disagree about whether 44 examinations or 21 recruitment exams were cancelled.
