Kazi Nazrul Museum artefacts to stay in Churulia during restoration

The Kazi Nazrul Islam Museum in Churulia, India, is getting a big makeover.

At first, there was a disagreement about where to keep the museum's special items during the renovation.

Some people wanted to move them outside the village, but others, including the poet's family, were worried about their safety.

After a meeting with important people like the university head and government officials, it was decided that all the museum's items will stay in Churulia at a place called Churulia Yuva Awas.

They will be well-guarded by police and watched by cameras.

The renovation is expected to be finished before May 2026, which is when the poet's birthday is celebrated.

The goal is to make the museum look modern and attractive, and to make Churulia a popular place for tourists to visit all year round.
