Pahalgam Attackers Traced to Pakistani LeT Network via GPS Data
Investigators used evidence like ID cards and phone data to prove the Pahalgam attackers came from Pakistan and belonged to the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group.
The attackers entered India in 2022, were provided shelter and food, and then carried out the attack in April 2025.
Forensic tests and GPS logs helped confirm their identities.
The main leaders who planned the attack were identified and traced to Pakistan, showing how the group was supported and controlled from there.
Evidence links the Pahalgam attackers to Lashkar-e-Taiba's Pakistan network.
Pakistani ID cards, satellite phone data, and chocolate wrappers were found, indicating Pakistani origin.
Forensic analysis confirmed the terrorists' identities and their presence in the area.
The attackers infiltrated through the Gurez sector in May 2022.
The attack was planned and directed by LeT leaders based in Pakistan.
