Global Semiconductor Revenue Hits $793 Billion in 2025
In 2025, the global semiconductor market grew a lot, reaching $793 billion.
This is a 21% increase from the previous year.
A big reason for this growth is the demand for AI semiconductors, which include special processors and memory chips.
These AI parts made up almost one-third of all semiconductor sales.
NVIDIA was the top company, making over $100 billion, while Samsung and SK Hynix also did well.
Intel, however, lost some of its market share.
The high demand for AI chips is expected to keep growing, with AI semiconductors making up over half of all sales by 2029.
Global semiconductor revenue reached $793 billion in 2025, a 21% year-over-year increase.
AI semiconductors accounted for nearly one-third of total sales in 2025.
NVIDIA became the first vendor to cross $100 billion in semiconductor sales.
Samsung retained the second spot with $73 billion in revenue, driven by memory sales.
SK Hynix moved into the third position with $61 billion in revenue, fueled by HBM demand.
