France Moves to Ditch US Tech
France is creating its own video chat tool called Visio.
They will use this instead of American tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
The French government wants to use more of its own technology and less from the United States.
Around 40,000 people are already using Visio, and the plan is to finish switching by 2027.
Other countries are also being careful about using American technology.
France is developing and using a domestic video conferencing platform called Visio.
The platform will replace American-owned tools like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
The rollout of Visio is scheduled to be completed by 2027.
Around 40,000 users are already onboard with the new platform.
The move aims to reduce France's dependence on US digital infrastructure.
