Red Fort Blast: Al Falah Imam's Wife Details Suspect's Integration into Daily Life
A doctor named Muzammil, who worked at a university called Al Falah, is being questioned because he might be involved in a big terror plot.
His wife explained how he slowly became friends with a local religious leader, the Imam, and even started renting a room to keep his things.
This doctor and another person, who is thought to be the main planner, were connected to a terrorist group.
The police found a huge amount of explosives, like almost 3000 kilograms, along with weapons and timers, in the room Dr. Muzammil was renting.
This discovery happened just one day before a bomb went off near a famous place in Delhi called the Red Fort.
The police are trying to understand how these doctors were part of this dangerous plan and where they got all the explosive materials.
Dr. Muzammil Shakeel, an Assistant Professor at Al Falah University, was detained over terror links.
Hasina, wife of Al Falah Imam Mohammad Ishtiaq, described how Dr. Muzammil integrated into their daily lives.
Nearly 2900 kgs of explosive material, arms, ammunition, detonators, and timers were recovered from Dr. Muzammil's rented room in Faridabad.
