Yamuna Pushta Expressway Revived to Ease NCR Traffic
The Yamuna Pushta Expressway is a 30-kilometer road that runs along the Yamuna river.
The government of Uttar Pradesh is looking at this road again because there's a lot of traffic on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
This is happening because more people are moving to the area and a new airport in Jewar is about to open.
The Yamuna Pushta Road could help by giving people another way to travel between Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and other nearby cities.
This would make trips faster and easier for everyone, including people delivering goods.
It would also help connect places like Jhajjar and Agra to the National Capital Region (NCR).
UP Government is reviewing the Yamuna Pushta Expressway project to alleviate traffic congestion on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway.
The 30-kilometer expressway along the Yamuna river embankment could serve as an alternative route connecting Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Jewar Airport.
The project aims to reduce travel time and improve efficiency for both passenger and goods transport between Jhajjar, Agra, and other NCR regions.
Increased traffic on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway is attributed to rapid urbanization and the upcoming opening of Jewar Airport.
The Yamuna Pushta Road is expected to lessen congestion and enhance connectivity in the National Capital Region.
