Karnataka Approves Bill Regulating Public Property Use Amid RSS Row
The Karnataka government made a new rule called a Bill about how people can use government places like parks, playgrounds, buildings, roads and other public property.
The Home Minister, Priyank Kharge, said the rule is there to keep these public places safe and stop them from being misused.
Some leaders from the BJP party think the rule is actually meant to stop the RSS, a big organisation, from doing its work.
Mr. Kharge said that is not true and that the rule has nothing to do with the RSS.
He asked the BJP leaders to discuss the rule calmly in the Assembly meeting instead of getting upset.
He also said he is only following an order given by the Supreme Court.
The Bill still needs to be debated and decided by the Assembly before it becomes a final law.
