Nissan Teams with Roush to Create a Frontier Raptor Rival
Nissan has teamed up with a company called Roush to make a tougher version of their Frontier truck.
This new version, called the PRO-4X R, has special suspension that lifts it higher off the ground.
It also has cool features like strong skid plates and new wheels.
While the truck still uses the same engine as before, it will be more affordable than its main competitor.
It's made in Mississippi and will be available in showrooms soon.
Nissan partnered with Roush Performance to develop a new off-road variant of the Frontier.
The PRO-4X R features a unique suspension system developed with Ohlins, raising the truck by two inches.
Exterior upgrades include titanium skid plates, Lava Red tow hooks, and new 17-inch wheels.
The truck retains Nissan's 3.8-liter V6 engine, producing 310 hp.
The PRO-4X R starts at $47,960, undercutting the Ford Ranger Raptor in price.
