65-acre tree park planned in Bengaluru
A big new park is being built in Bengaluru on a 65-acre land that used to be a factory.
The park will have many trees, walking paths, places to eat, and even a museum.
The first part of the park will open soon, and it will have things like fountains, a food court, and places for kids to play.
The park will also have big buildings where people can have meetings and a special place for new businesses to start.
The government is spending a lot of money to make this park, and they promise not to cut down any trees.
They want it to be a place where people can enjoy nature and have fun.
A 65-acre tree park is being developed at Baiyappanahalli, Bengaluru, at an estimated cost of Rs 37.75 crore.
The park will be developed in four phases, with the first phase expected to open in March 2024.
The park will feature 8,500 trees, multi-level parking, convention centres, an incubation centre, and a technology museum.
No trees will be felled, and existing structures will be refurbished and repurposed.
The project aims to benefit residents of East Bengaluru and could become a major green space.
