RRP Defense and Meprolight Partner for Defense Manufacturing
RRP Defense, an Indian company, and Meprolight, an Israeli company that makes advanced optical equipment for weapons, have teamed up.
They want to make and sell high-tech defense products in India.
This partnership will help India make more of its own defense equipment, which is important for the country's security.
They will work together to sell these products, develop new technologies, and even make some parts in India.
This is part of India's plan to become more self-reliant in defense manufacturing.
The collaboration will take place at RRP Defense's facility in Mahape, and they plan to use local components to make these products in the future.
RRP Defense and Meprolight have formed a strategic partnership to boost defense manufacturing in India.
The collaboration aims to distribute, assemble, and integrate Meprolight's advanced electro-optic products for Indian armed forces and law-enforcement agencies.
Meprolight will transfer key technologies to RRP Defense for assembly, testing, and integration at their Mahape facility.
The partnership supports India's Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, with plans for local manufacturing using indigenous components.
RRP Defense Chairman Rajendra Chodankar highlighted the significance of the partnership in advancing India's defense indigenization efforts.
