Collector Assures Cotton Farmers of MSP and Smooth Procurement
A government official, the Collector, opened a place where farmers can sell their cotton.
She promised that all farmers who grow good quality cotton will get the price the government says is fair.
This price is Rs 8,110 for every 100 kilograms of cotton.
The government's company, CCI, will buy the cotton to make sure farmers get this price.
The official also said that farmers should get their money right away after selling, and she told officials to make sure everything runs smoothly.
She warned farmers not to sell to private people who might pay less, so they don't lose money.
