Imagine banks that help local communities, called urban cooperative banks.

These apps will help people pay and get loans more easily and without lots of paper.

The minister also said that within five years, every town with over 200,000 people should have one of these special banks.
He wants these banks to help everyone, especially people who need a little extra support, by making special money products for them.
The goal is to make sure these banks are strong and help lots of people across the country.
Union Minister Amit Shah launched two digital platforms, Sahkar DigiPay and Sahkar DigiLoan, for urban cooperative banks (UCBs).
The new apps aim to make payments and loan access faster, paperless, and transparent for UCB members.
Shah set a five-year target to establish an urban cooperative bank in every town with a population exceeding 2 lakh.
He urged UCB umbrella organizations to onboard all 1,500 cooperative banks onto the new platforms within two years.
