Tea Time at Chequers: Akhil Patel Serves Chai to Modi and Starmer
Akhil Patel, the owner of Amala Chai, had a big day!
He was asked to make and serve tea to important people at the UK Prime Minister's house, Chequers.
These people included the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and the leader of the UK's Labour Party, Keir Starmer.
He served them masala chai, which is a special tea he makes.
Many other ministers also came to try his tea.
Patel started his tea company a few years ago, and now he has shops all over London.
He was very excited about serving tea to such important people and said it was one of the craziest moments of his life.

The event took place on July 24 at Chequers, the UK Prime Minister's official residence.
Patel was invited to serve tea to celebrate the UK-India free trade deal.
Numerous UK and Indian ministers, including Jonathan Reynolds, Wes Streeting, Ajit Doval, and S Jaishankar, visited Patel's stall.
Patel's Amala Chai brand was founded in 2019 and now has five locations in London.
