Scott Cooper Discusses Springsteen's
Imagine making a movie about a famous musician.
Usually, these movies show their whole life from when they were born until now.
But this new movie about Bruce Springsteen is different!
It's called 'Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere' and it only focuses on one very important, but also very difficult, time in his life.
This was when he was making his album called 'Nebraska'.
The director, Scott Cooper, wanted to make it special by not showing everything, but just this one part.
Bruce Springsteen himself even helped out a lot on the movie set!
The director hopes that seeing how Springsteen got through a tough time can give people hope.
The film 'Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere' is an 'anti-rock biopic' focusing on the creation of Bruce Springsteen's album 'Nebraska'.
Director Scott Cooper was inspired by the album 'Nebraska' and saw potential in portraying Springsteen's difficult but hopeful journey through that period.
Producers Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein sought out Cooper, whom they considered a 'white whale', to direct the film.
Springsteen was actively involved during the filmmaking process, providing access and information to the team.
Actor Jeremy Allen White portrays Bruce Springsteen in the film.
