Amaravati infrastructure development and semiconductor debate
A big government official, Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, opened new community halls in Amaravati and said that the land in 29 villages around Amaravati will become very valuable soon.
He explained that before Hyderabad's Hitech City was built, land was cheap, but now it's very expensive.
He believes the same will happen in Amaravati.
The government will build roads, halls, and other important things to make the area better.
He also promised to fix any problems the farmers might have.
Soon, there will even be a big pickle-making place worth Rs 5 crore in Motadaka village.
Meanwhile, Peddapalli MP Gaddam Vamsi Krishna asked the Centre to establish a semiconductor industry in the Peddapalli-Mancherial region of Telangana, saying it has strong infrastructure, lots of water, and a skilled workforce.
He criticized the Centre's decision to locate a major semiconductor project in Andhra Pradesh, alleging political favouritism.
Telangana leaders have consistently alleged discrimination, claiming their state had offered land, incentives, and investor commitments before the project was diverted.
Union Minister Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar inaugurated community halls in Motadaka village, Guntur district.
Infrastructure development planned in 29 villages of Amaravati, including roads, community halls, and drainage.
Land prices in Amaravati expected to rise significantly, similar to the increase seen near Hyderabad's Hitech City.
A pickle cluster worth Rs 5 crore will be established in Motadaka village.
Government assured to address difficulties faced by Amaravati farmers and deliver development.
