Slovenia Advances to Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers Over India
Slovenia and India played a tennis match to see who would get to play in the bigger Billie Jean King Cup next year.
Slovenia's first player, Tamara Zidansek, won her match against India's Shrivalli Bhamidipaty.
Although Shrivalli won the second set, Tamara came back strong in the third set to win.
Then, Slovenia's second player, Kaja Juvan, won her match against India's Sahaja Yamalapalli, which meant Slovenia had won enough games to win the whole match and qualify!
India did win the last doubles game, but it didn't change the overall outcome.
The Slovenian players felt it was like a dream, and the Indian players were proud to play at home and hoped to inspire more girls in India to play tennis.
