Australia Prepares for T20 World Cup

Australia Prepares for T20 World Cup

Australia is playing Pakistan in a three-match T20I series, which is their last practice before the T20 World Cup.

Australia's captain, Mitchell Marsh, and some players just finished the Big Bash League final and arrived in Pakistan a day before the first match.

Some important players like Pat Cummins and Glenn Maxwell are not playing because they are not fully fit.

Pakistan has all their World Cup squad players available.

The series is important for both teams to get ready for the World Cup, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka.

Australia wants to win the World Cup again after losing in the last two tournaments.

Ricky Ponting, a former Australia captain, believes Glenn Maxwell will perform well in the World Cup despite a poor BBL season.

Maxwell struggled in the BBL but has a history of performing well in big tournaments.

Ponting also mentioned that Steve Smith could be a backup if needed.
