No Need to Panic, Justice Assured for Genuine Land Owners
In the state of Telangana in India, some pieces of land have a special label that makes it hard for their owners to register or sell them.
Many people with these lands were worried they might lose their property.
The minister in charge of land and housing, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, told everyone not to panic.
He said the government will check every case carefully.
If someone is the true owner and everything is legal, they will get help quickly.
The government also wants to put land documents online so officials can check them easily.
This will make it harder for people to use fake papers.
Officials are not allowed to say no without explaining why.
The minister said there will be no tolerance for anyone causing trouble for honest land owners.
This is meant to make things fair and clear for everyone.
Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy assured genuine owners of lands under Prohibited Assets (POB) and Section 22-A that they need not fear.
He said the present government added no new lands to the prohibited list and inherited legal and technical complications from the previous administration.
Officials were directed to upload Government Orders, memos, land acquisition proceedings and layout approvals online by August 14.
Sub-Registrars must examine POB registration cases for three days and cite specific reasons before rejecting them.
The Minister announced zero tolerance for deliberate Section 22-A actions causing hardship to poor and genuine property owners.
