HYDRAA Reclaims 12 Acres in Gandhamguda
In Gandhamguda, a group called HYDRAA helped take back more than 12 acres of government land that people were using without permission.
The land is worth a lot of money.
Some of the land was being used for a power station and garbage dumping, but the rest was empty and people were slowly taking it over.
HYDRAA put up fences and signs to show the land belongs to the government.
They also said they wouldn't touch a temple and a mosque that were built on the land.
This was done to make sure no one takes more land in the future.
Meanwhile, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is also cleaning up the area by removing extra waste and construction debris as part of a special sanitation drive.
HYDRAA reclaimed 12.17 acres of government land in Gandhamguda.
The total land parcel is 26 acres, with 1 acre for a power substation and 9 acres for GHMC garbage processing.
Residents complained about encroachment, leading to HYDRAA's action.
HYDRAA fenced the area and erected boards to mark government ownership.
A temple and mosque on the land will remain untouched.
