Jharkhand Recruitment Reform Yatra Set To Begin On August 24

Devendra Mahto announced a statewide campaign about improving government recruitment exams.

The campaign will begin on August 24.

It is planned to visit all 24 districts of Jharkhand.

Mahto says students are worried about problems in several examinations.

He says innocent students who earned jobs should not lose them.

He wants the government to separate deserving candidates from people accused of cheating or other wrongdoing.

The government had cancelled 22 exams, ordered investigations into 17 and postponed six others.

A court later stayed the government’s decision to cancel multiple exams.

Students also protested in Ranchi and clashed with police after trying to burn an effigy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
