Shastra VC Launches Deep-Tech Fellowship SDEX
Shastra Venture Capital has started a new program called SDEX.
This program helps researchers turn their ideas into real companies.
It gives them money and support to make their ideas work.
The program lasts for 16 to 24 weeks and picks up to 15 teams.
These teams can get up to $100,000 to help them.
The money is given without taking any part of their company.
The program is for people in big schools like IITs and other research places.
It has two parts: one for solving specific problems and another for exploring new ideas.
The goal is to help more good ideas become successful companies.
Shastra VC launched SDEX, a deep-tech fellowship program to support research projects.
SDEX offers up to $100,000 in equity-free funding to each selected team.
The program lasts 16-24 weeks and targets engineering and research institutions.
First cohort will select up to 15 teams, with two tracks: Challenge and Frontier.
SDEX aims to bridge the gap between lab research and venture-ready startups.
