The government says more than one crore people have received FASTag annual passes.
The scheme began on 15 August 2025.

The pass costs ₹3,075 in one payment.
It can be used for one year or 200 toll crossings, whichever happens first.
It works at about 1,150 National Highway and National Expressway toll plazas.
The pass is added to the vehicle’s existing FASTag after payment.
Drivers can buy it through the Rajmargyatra app or the National Highways Authority of India website.
Tolls at state-run or locally managed plazas are still paid from the normal FASTag balance.
