PAC Demands Restoration of War Hero Statue in Ludhiana
A group called the Public Action Committee (PAC) wants to put a war hero's statue back where it used to be in Ludhiana.
Major Bhupinder Singh won a big award for his bravery in a war.
The statue and a captured tank were at a busy spot, but they were removed.
Now, the group wants the statue and tank put back.
They say the city's history is being forgotten.
They are asking people to join them on October 3rd to remember the hero.
The PAC is urging the Ludhiana district administration to restore Major Bhupinder Singh's statue at Bharat Nagar Chowk.
The statue and a captured tank were once at the chowk but were removed.
Hero Cycles now has its logo at the chowk.
The statue is currently located at an obscure place near the Rose Garden.
