A senior railway officer checked a train journey at night to see whether it was safe.

He travelled in the train engine from Secunderabad toward Kazipet.

He looked at the tracks, signals, electric equipment and speed warnings.

He also checked whether the train drivers and other railway workers were alert.

The next day, he visited Warangal railway station.

He inspected the platforms, waiting areas, lifts, escalators and other passenger facilities.

The station is being improved through a project costing Rs 25.41 crore.
