Gmail Users to Change @gmail.com Email IDs
Google is letting Gmail users change their email address that ends with @gmail.com.
This feature is rolling out slowly, so not everyone has it yet.
Your old email will still work and become an extra email address.
Google first mentioned this in a Hindi support page and now it's also in English, so it's really happening.
Before, you could only change emails if you signed up with a non-Gmail address.
Gmail users will soon be able to change their @gmail.com email address.
The feature is rolling out gradually and may not be available to all users yet.
The previous email address will remain functional and become an alternate email.
Google initially hinted at this change in a Hindi support page, now also available in English.
This is the first time users with @gmail.com addresses can change their primary email.
