RBI Hosts Mega Camp for Customer Account Updates in Maynaguri
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is helping people update their bank accounts.
They are doing this by organizing special camps across the country.
One such camp was held in Maynaguri, where around 1,700 people updated their accounts.
This update is needed because of rules for accounts opened long ago.
People can update their information at these camps, or at their local bank or gram panchayat offices.
To update, customers need to bring documents like Aadhaar or a voter ID.
If nothing has changed, a simple declaration is enough.
The RBI is also sending messages to remind people to update their information.
RBI is holding Saturation Camps across the country from July 1 to September 30.
A mega camp was organized in Maynaguri, Jalpaiguri on Friday.
The State Bank of India (SBI) coordinated the Maynaguri camp.
Around 1,700 customers updated their accounts at the Maynaguri camp.
Customers need to update their KYC information for smooth transactions.
