Bangladesh to Import 200 Made-in-India Railway Coaches

Bangladesh is getting 200 new train coaches from India.

These coaches will help Bangladesh Railways, which doesn't have enough trains right now.

The coaches are being made in India and will be sent to Bangladesh starting from June 2026.

The deal is worth Rs 915 crore and is being paid for by the European Investment Bank.

There are also talks about starting the Maitree Express train between Kolkata and Dhaka again.

This train used to go between India and Bangladesh but stopped because of political problems.

The new coaches will help Bangladesh have more trains, especially in the north.

The government in Bangladesh is also planning to buy more trains and improve the railway system.

India and Bangladesh are working together to make their friendship stronger.
