Tirupati Auto Nagar: Registration Ban Revoked by Collector
Imagine a neighborhood where people couldn't officially register their homes for six years.
The District Collector has now lifted the ban on property registrations in Tirupati Auto Nagar.
The land was originally developed in 1997, and all the units were sold, but the registrations were stopped in 2018.
The Collector decided to reverse the ban after requests from residents.
Now, people can register their properties, ensuring their ownership is protected.
This also helps with things like inheritance and getting loans, plus it safeguards the jobs of the workers employed there.
The District Collector revoked the ban on property registrations in Tirupati Auto Nagar.
The ban had been in place since October 2018 due to legal restrictions.
The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) developed the area in 1997.
337 automobile units were sold in the area.
The decision will benefit unit owners and around 1,500 workers.
