Kurnool Medical College Celebrates 70 Years

Kurnool Medical College (KMC) is one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools in Andhra Pradesh.

It was started on July 21, 1957, by Dr. C Venkata Ramaiah and has since trained over 13,000 doctors.

Recently, KMC celebrated its 70th anniversary with a special meeting.

The principal, Dr. K Chitti Narasamma, talked about the school's history and its famous graduates, like Dr. Noori Dattatreya, who did important work in the US.

Many other important doctors and leaders were also honored.

KMC started with just 50 students but now teaches 250 students every year.

The school is known for its great contributions to healthcare and medical research.
