Geopolitical Tensions Boost Gold, Silver, Bitcoin
Gold, silver, and Bitcoin prices went up because of some big events.
First, important people from the Federal Reserve said they might lower interest rates, which makes gold and other safe things more attractive.
Second, there's a lot of trouble in Venezuela, including their president being charged with something bad in the U.S. This makes people want to put their money in safe things like gold, silver, and even Bitcoin.
Bitcoin also went up because some people think Venezuela might have a lot of Bitcoin hidden, and if the U.S. takes it, there might be less Bitcoin available.
All of this is making these things more valuable.
Some experts think it's a good time to invest, but others say we should be careful because not many people are buying and selling these things right now, which could make the prices go up and down quickly.
Gold prices hit a one-week high, rising 0.4% to $4,463.63 per ounce due to Fed rate cut expectations and Venezuela turmoil.
Silver prices surged to a record high of ₹255,800 per kilogram on India's MCX, up 3.9% or ₹9,645 per kilogram.
Bitcoin rallied to $94,000 amid geopolitical tensions, reviving debate over its role as a digital hedge alongside gold and silver.
Venezuela has been using stablecoins like USDT for oil transactions since 2024 to bypass US financial restrictions.
Investors are diversifying their portfolios with multiple hedging assets, including gold, silver, and Bitcoin, rather than choosing between them.
