November 2025 Celestial Events: Full Beaver Supermoon, Meteor Showers, and Saturn’s Ring Plane Crossing
This November, the night sky is putting on a show!
First, there's a special full moon called the Full Beaver Supermoon.
It's extra big because it's the moon's closest trip to Earth all year.
Then, get ready for shooting stars!
Two meteor showers, the Taurids and the Leonids, will light up the sky.
The Taurids have bright fireballs, and the Leonids are super fast.
Best of all, there's a rare chance to see Saturn's rings almost disappear.
This happens when we look at Saturn right as its rings are edge-on to us, making them look like a thin line or vanish completely.

November 2025 features a Full Beaver Supermoon, the closest approach of the moon to Earth this year.
The Taurids meteor shower, known for bright fireballs, will be active from October 11 to late November with a Northern Taurids peak in mid-November.
