Star Health Reports 414% YoY Profit Growth
Star Health, a big health insurance company in India, just shared its financial results for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025-26.
They made a lot more profit compared to last year, with a 414% increase.
This growth came from more premiums, better management of claims, and improved efficiency.
They also shared that they are using more digital tools to help customers, like their app which has been downloaded over 13 million times.
The company's leader said they are focused on staying the best in health insurance and making sure customers have a good experience.
They also talked about their plans to support the national goal of 'Insurance for All' by 2047.
Niva Bupa, another health insurance company, also reported strong growth in premiums and retail business, driven by GST exemption on individual health insurance premiums.
However, they reported an operating loss due to accounting changes and new labour code costs.
Aster DM Healthcare, a healthcare company, reported a mixed performance with revenue growth but a decline in net profit due to one-time charges from the new Labour Codes.
