Aditya Sahu Elected New BJP Jharkhand Chief
Aditya Sahu, who started as a booth-level worker, is going to be the new leader of the BJP in Jharkhand.
He filed his papers on Tuesday, and since no one else did, he will be officially announced as the new chief on Wednesday.
Jual Oram, a union minister, was there to oversee the process.
Aditya has worked his way up in the party and has experience in different parts of Jharkhand.
Babulal Marandi, who was the leader before, will now focus on his role as the Leader of the Opposition.
The BJP follows a process where leaders change after three years, and this is just a part of that process.
Aditya Sahu, the BJP’s Jharkhand working president, is set to become the new BJP Jharkhand chief, replacing Babulal Marandi.
Sahu filed his nomination on Tuesday, and with no other nominations, he will be formally announced as the new party chief on Wednesday.
Union minister Jual Oram supervised the nomination process at the BJP state office in Ranchi.
Sahu has risen through the BJP’s ranks from a booth-level worker to various organizational roles, including divisional in-charge in Palamu and Kolhan.
Babulal Marandi, the outgoing state president, will continue as the Leader of the Opposition, while organizational responsibilities are handled separately.
