FDA suspends licences of five Mumbai clubs

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Maharashtra has suspended the food licences of five well-known clubs in Mumbai.

These clubs are the Cricket Club of India, MIG Cricket Club, Willingdon Sports Club, RK Juhu Gymkhana, and Aparna Juhu Gymkhana.

The FDA found serious problems like cockroaches, rotten food, and dirty kitchens during surprise inspections.

The clubs have been told to stop food operations until they fix these issues and meet the food safety rules.

The FDA is cracking down on food safety violations across the state, and no club, no matter how prestigious, is being spared.
