iPC proposes ₹83,480 crore Karnataka green infrastructure investment

Innovation Platform Capital, or iPC, wants to build large technology and clean-energy facilities in Karnataka.

The project would be developed near Bengaluru and Tumakuru.

It would include data centers, which store and process digital information, and facilities that produce green hydrogen.

The entire project could cost ₹83,480 crore and would be built in three phases.

The first phase is expected to cost ₹17,114 crore.

It would include two data-center campuses and a green hydrogen and power complex.

The company has asked for 1,000 acres of land.

The project would use treated industrial wastewater where possible and aims to recycle most of its water.
