Knife-Wielding Man Attacks Several People At Hong Kong's Baguio Villa
A scary thing happened at a big apartment building in a city called Hong Kong.
A young man took a knife and walked outside wearing only his sweatpants, with no shirt and no shoes.
He tried to hurt people with the knife.
He ran toward one man, but that man was able to get away.
He also fought with a security guard whose job is to keep people safe.
Then he hurt a woman who worked as a domestic helper, stabbing her in the back.
Security guards and other people worked together to stop him until the police came and arrested him.
Two people were hurt and went to the hospital for treatment.
Police also found a hurt cat in his home and gave it to an animal charity to look after it.
Police are still trying to figure out why he did this.
A 22-year-old man was arrested after allegedly attacking several people with a knife at Baguio Villa in Hong Kong on Monday morning, August 10.
Two people — a foreign domestic helper and a security guard — were injured and taken to hospital.
The suspect left his flat in Block 47 wearing only sweatpants and carrying a knife before confronting a passerby and security staff near Block 43.
Security guards and members of the public restrained the suspect until police arrived and arrested him at the scene.
Police found a cat with an injury to its right ear in the suspect's flat and handed it to the SPCA; the motive for the attacks remains under investigation.
