India's November 2025 Tea Output Drops 16%
India produced less tea in November 2025 compared to the same month last year.
The total tea made was about 16% less, which is 124.19 million kilograms.
This happened because of bad weather in the northern parts of India, especially in Assam and West Bengal.
Assam, which makes the most tea, saw a 10.59% drop.
West Bengal had an even bigger drop of 26.75%.
However, Tamil Nadu in the south made almost 6% more tea.
Overall, from January to November 2025, India made a bit more tea than last year, but November was a tough month for most tea-growing areas.
India's tea output in November 2025 declined by 16.29% to 124.19 million kg compared to 148.36 million kg in November 2024.
