Panvel Civic Body Steps Up Dengue Prevention During Monsoon
Panvel’s civic authorities are working to stop mosquitoes from spreading diseases.
They are checking homes, housing societies and construction sites.
The teams are looking for places where water collects.
Mosquitoes can breed in this still water.
Residents should empty water from containers, flower pots, tyres and tanks.
They should also keep water storage containers covered.
People should cooperate with the visiting health workers.
Anyone with symptoms such as fever, body ache, headache or weakness should visit a civic health centre instead of self-medicating.
The Panvel Municipal Corporation has intensified efforts against dengue, malaria and chikungunya.
Health teams are inspecting homes, housing societies, residential complexes and construction sites.
Officials are surveying premises to identify and eliminate mosquito breeding sites.
Residents have been urged to remove stagnant water and keep storage containers covered.
People with fever, body ache, headache or weakness should seek evaluation at civic health centres.
