Maruti Suzuki's First Design Challenge Engages Young Talent
Maruti Suzuki, a big car company in India, had its first Design Challenge.
Over 400 students from many design schools in India and around the world joined.
They had to come up with new ideas for cars and how people will move around in the future.
The best teams won prizes and got to work with Maruti Suzuki for six months.
The company's boss said this is important because young people have fresh ideas that can help make better cars.
This challenge helps young designers learn about the car industry and share their creativity.
Maruti Suzuki India Limited conducted its first-ever Design Challenge, engaging 400+ students from 70 design institutes.
The challenge aimed to connect young design talent with the automobile industry to co-create future mobility solutions.
Top 3 teams from MIT Institute of Design (Pune), VIT (Vellore), and Strate School of Design (Bengaluru) won cash prizes and 6-month internships.
Next seven teams received gift vouchers and potential internship opportunities after further evaluations.
Hisashi Takeuchi, MD & CEO of Maruti Suzuki, emphasized the importance of engaging young minds for fresh perspectives in automotive design.
