People in Marrivalasa village have wanted a bridge for many years.

On Sunday, Minister Kondapalli Srinivas started the bridge project by laying its foundation stone.

The road-cum-bridge is expected to cost Rs 6.50 crore.

It should make it easier for villagers to reach schools, hospitals, and other services.

The project was promised during the 2024 election campaign.

It will be funded through a government investment assistance scheme.

The minister also opened a new village council building.

Villagers asked for repairs to their Anganwadi and school buildings, and he promised new buildings next year.

Officials may also arrange a bus stop for students.
