BJP Plans 13-Day Punjab Anti-Drug Yatra Ahead Of 2027 Polls

The Bharatiya Janata Party plans to hold a 13-day march in Punjab about stopping drug abuse.

The march is called the Nasha Mukt Punjab Yatra.

It is expected to start in Pathankot on September 18 and finish in Jalandhar on September 30.

The party says families affected by addiction will share their experiences.

It also plans rallies, pledge-signing events and visits to rehabilitation centres.

Groups such as NGOs, youth clubs and village committees may participate.

The BJP will distribute a document criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party government’s work on the drug problem.

The campaign is being planned before Punjab’s 2027 state election.
