MS Dhoni advises young fan on balanced diet plan
MS Dhoni is a very famous cricket player.
He once recorded a video message for a young fan named Anirudh.
Anirudh wants to become a wicketkeeper-batsman, like a player who keeps wickets and bats.
Dhoni told him that he needs to eat the right kinds of food.
He said Anirudh should avoid too much sugar and fried food.
He also told him to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
Dhoni explained that a balanced diet will make him stronger to hit sixes.
It will also help him be quick enough to catch fast balls.
Dhoni joked that he could make a diet plan for the boy if needed.
A nutrition expert named Garima Goyal agreed that a balanced diet is important, though each person's needs are different.
In a resurfaced 2023 video message, MS Dhoni gave diet advice to young fan Anirudh Tiwari, who wants to be a wicketkeeper-batsman.
Dhoni advised Anirudh to avoid sugar and fried food and eat a balanced diet rich in vegetables and fruits.
Dhoni said eating right would help the boy get stronger to hit sixes and stay agile for fast catches.
He joked that if Anirudh did not eat what his parents suggested, he could provide him a diet plan.
Consultant dietitian Garima Goyal said an ideal diet includes protein, complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, fibre, fruits, vegetables and fluids, with no one-size-fits-all plan.
